Custom Bikes and Choppers will comply to the laws and regulations as dicated by the "Fair Trading" organisation in the state or territory of the customer.

Custom Bikes and Choppers is happy to enter in one off arrangements to assist customers if necessary

Conditions of Sale:

Sales Process

Custom Bikes and Choppers (CBC) procedure is as document and will only be varied by previous written consent.

1) Customers select the product(s) they wish to purchase via email or via the website.

2) A representative from CBC will then contact the customer confirming the delivery address for the goods.

3) Payment is processed and orders are placed.

4) Goods are received at CBC from suppliers and manufactures. They are checked for quality, correctness and completeness and forwarded to customer.

5) Proof of delivery is obtained and the sale is considered finalised

Shipping:
The cost of shipping is stated on the invoice at the time of ordering. CBC reserves the right to change this cost by means of written notification at any time prior to the delivery of the goods.

Proof of delivery:
It is a customer's duty and responsibility to make sure that the delivery address is secure and monitored. A signature will be required, and once obtained the customer will be responsible for the goods.

Goods are delivered to an address not to an individual. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure the goods are being received by themselves or a representative appointed by them. CBC takes no responsibility for goods that are stolen once delivered or for goods are that misappropriated at the delivery address. Taking delivery and securing the goods is the responsibility of the customer.

Warranty:
All warranties and guarantees are carried by the manufacturers. CBC is not a manufacturer and the customer acknowledges that fact when purchasing goods through CBC. CBC will act in good faith and will facilitate any warranty claims made by customers.

Warranty covers manufacturing faults, breakages due to normal use and items that are not fit for purpose. It does not cover mistakes made in ordering or change of mind. Goods are supplied as ordered and for the use intended. Any other use of these goods voids warranty.

Custom Parts:
Many of the Parts supplied like Chopper Kits are custom made. Once an order is finalised and confirmed, cancellation of the order will result in a fee being charged for work carried out as parts can not be re-used.

Payments:
Payments are to be made via any means stated on CBC's website or by prior arrangement made with CBC.

Payments are to be received in full prior to any orders being placed.

Cheques will be cleared and funds made available to CBC prior to orders being processed.

Refunds and Returns:
Refunds can NOT be given for incorrect ordering, change of mind or delays in delivery. Some items can be returned while others may attract a restocking fee. Items that are custom made or damaged by the customer can NOT be returned.

CBC complies with the refund and returns policy of the state or territory the customer residence. Customers need to contact CBC to discuss the situation and obtain a return number before forwarding items for refund. Items sent without obtaining authorisation will NOT be refunded.

Certificates and Regulations:
AME Choppers kits come with TUV certificates of strength. Other parts come with homologation for their country of manufacture. Customer may use these certificate and compliance standards to obtain authorisation for road use in Australia if required. Products DO NOT have Australian unless specifically stated.
This does not prevent customers from obtaining authorisation for road use for any modification made to their bike.

Duty of care:
CBC lives up to its duty of care to its customers. We supply information as it is supplied by our manufacturers and suppliers and obtain information if available. All parts, kits, components and accessories are supplied as manufactured. Some items may require inspection or approval prior to road use. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that any modifications, including the use of items purchased through CBC meets local road and traffic authority regulations. Some items may not require authorisation for road use while others may require individual approval.

Liabilities and Responsibilities:
CBC takes no responsibility for loss or damage caused by the items supplied or the damage caused by their use. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they are aware of the consequences of their actions and the use of products purchased. By purchasing the product the customer indemnifies CBC, its representative and its employees from any and all legal action connected to the use, installation and operation of product purchased from CBC.

Authorisations:
CBC is an authorised dealer for the manufacturers and suppliers of the goods displayed on its website. It is not an authorised dealer or representative for any motor vehicle manufacturer.

Agreeing to Conditions of Sale:
By purchasing an item from Custom Bikes and Choppers you agree to the conditions of sale as stated above.
