AME (One of Germany's premier parts manufacturers) have made a kit that converts your everyday ride into the chopper you have always wanted. It gives your bike an additional 14 Degrees of rake and eight to ten inches of extra forks, while maintaining the original trail of the bike. This is a very important consideration regarding safety in how the bike handles and performs.
Australia has different legislation and laws regarding motor vehicles depending on which state or territory you live in. AME-Choppers.com.au supplies you with the following links so you can research what you will require to have your bike registered in the state you reside in.
The AME-Chopper kits have passed the incredibly stringent German TUV/Dot certification. You are required to make sure that your installation and bike still complies to your local laws.
As with all modification you make on your bike/chopper check with your local registration body.
